Rachel Agnew - what's been said about her...

...well, the stuff we can publish

National Day Nurseries Awards

‘Rachel presented the NDNA Nursery Awards 2012 at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in June 2012. She was professional and a pleasure to work with. She entertained the audience with stories about her own daughter’s nursery experiences and with her anecdotes as the voice of ‘cashier number 3 please.’ She made the evening highly entertaining and very special for our award winners.’

Sara Hill, National Day Nurseries Association

Working Woman Expo

‘Rachel spoke at the Working Woman Expo in Sheffield in January 2012. She is confident, entertaining & full of inspiration; her talk was fun, energetic and sincere, simply a delight on stage and utterly professional off stage. She tuned into the audience and engaged them with a light hearted style, a pure breath of fresh air. A highly professional lady, with heaps of energy and positivity. She is a great speaker and inspired the audience with her accounts of her experiences both in her working and personal life. I would definitely recommend her to any group looking for a fantastic inspirational speaker and a bit of fun.’

Cumbria Tourism Awards

‘Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with on this year's Cumbria Tourism Awards. She listened to everything we wanted and pitched the presentation perfectly. Down to earth, loads of fun, genuine and professional is how I'd describe her. We would not hesitate to book Rachel for any future event. A real hit with our audience - thank you!’

Women V Cancer Charity Ball & Auction

‘Thank you so much to Rachel Agnew for hosting our Charity Ball in aid of Breast, Cervical and Ovarian Cancer. Rachel was our auctioneer for the evening and without her we wouldn’t have raised half of what we did, we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome and Rachel made us feel at ease from the moment she entered the room, what a star she is! The audience was totally captivated with what she had to say, entertained and handing over money left right and centre. Professional, down to earth, hilarious, charismatic, fabulous and full of fun are just some of the words of feedback we received about Rachel. We have no hesitation in recommending Rachel and we are very much looking forward to booking her for our future fundraising events.’

The Old Rutlishian’s Ladies Night

‘Thank you for a wonderful evening. Hearing you speak on the night I knew I had made the right choice of speaker for our ladies' only evening, given the diverse age range from 21 to 80. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed your speech, which was interesting, inspiring and witty.  You made the evening feel so friendly and relaxed. Even the men who were waiters on the night, have said how much they enjoyed it!!  A great, positive reaction all round so again thank you.’

Mrs Patricia Keene, Old Rutlishians' Association

The Queen’s Nursing Institute Communications Workshop

‘The reason that I asked you to come and present yesterday was because I was looking for a fun, dynamic and inspirational end to the day and boy that is what I got. I have a feeling that the workshop yesterday will be remembered for your session alone by those who attended. You were fun, outgoing and simply a joy to watch and you left everyone who attended with golden nuggets of information about how to manage an audience. What made your session so much fun was not only the huge amount of energy and life that you brought to the presentation but the anecdotal stories and experiences that you talked about throughout. Thank you so much for agreeing to present at our workshop, you were a perfect end to a perfect day!!’

Alison Blackman, The Queen’s Nursing Institute

Pride in Our People Awards

‘Rachel Agnew presented the awards at the Ealing Gazette and Thames Valley University Pride in Our People Awards 2010. She was a perfect choice for the event and was thoroughly professional throughout the whole evening and more than met our expectations for a celebrity awards presenter. Rachel has a great personality and was ease throughout the evening with prize winners and local dignitaries and certainly endeared herself to the audience.’

Adrian Seal, Trinity Mirror Southern

Charity Fashion Show

'Rachel was a superb compere at our recent charity fashion show. Her ease, natural wit and good humour kept everyone entertained throughout and she was a fantastic addition to the evening. I would thoroughly recommend her as a speaker, presenter or compere.'

Solihull School Ladies’ Supper

‘The Solihull School Parents’ Association holds an annual Ladies’ Supper for about three hundred ladies and each year the committee have to make a decision on who to invite as guest speaker. This year we got it spot on! Rachel’s friendly, down to earth, humorous approach had everyone captivated from the moment she began. It is the first time in many years that there was absolute silence throughout the speech.

The feedback has been extremely positive. People have commented on how inspiring her talk was because as Rachel explained she is just a ‘normal person’. Apparently at rugby training the following morning there was a feeling of empowerment amongst the mothers!
Her speech had moments of poignancy as well as honesty and humour. She definitely gave hope to those ladies who are going through a difficult time at the moment and cheer to those who aren’t! A wonderful evening – one that is still being talked about three weeks later. Rachel is a superb choice of speaker for a ladies function and I would recommend her whole heartedly.’
